RICE PATTIES

INGREDIENTS:

1 c. brown rice

2.5 c. water

oil

salt

2 eggs

seasoning - optional

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Wash rice thoroughly and strain. Add to rice cooker.

  2. Add water, oil and some salt.

  3. Turn rice cooker on (takes more than an hour).

  4. When rice is cooked, remove from rice cooker and add oil, 2 eggs, salt and optional seasonings.

  5. Spread evenly on an oiled baking sheet.

  6. Cook for 5-10 minutes (until rice patties are firm).

  7. Slice into rectangles with your spatula and serve.
